Nickel Elector Forming
Nickel electroforming is the method of
fabricating ultra-precision molds by precipitation of
atomic Ni one by one on the master surface by electrochemical reaction.
For this reason, nanometer level bumps and shapes
on the master surface can be replicated precisely to
Ni. This technique is used for the production of cavities and cores,
which can be made by injection molding and thermal compression molding.
NiEF characteristics
(1) Micro-fine patterns
For fabrication of cavities with sharp 10 mm patterns.
(2) High aspect ratio shapes
For fabrication of sharp and deep shapes which cannot be made using other machining methods.
(3) No major restrictions
For fabrication of micro molds to large molds above 1 m.
(4) Extensive experience and high reliability
Experience in delivering above 10,000 NiEFs=world standard.
(5) Free choice of master material
Si, SiO2, Brass, Cu, Ni, resin
(6) Diverse machining method
Consult us for masters which cannot be made by the usual machining methods.
(7) Highly pure metal products
Purity of NiEF is above 99%. Alloys can also be used.
(8) Suitable for single part production through mass production
Suitable for trial production and development of single products, production of several pieces and mass production.
(9) Pipes and hollow products
Capable of fabricating pipes with high precision inner surface and hollow complex shape Ni products.
(10) Broad range physical properties
Physical properties such as hardness, flexibility, and magnetism can be changed.
